Hoopers.life is a small independent publication about basketball as it's actually played — on public courts, in rec leagues, at open gyms on weeknights.

We write essays and reporting on the culture, history and craft of the game. We test gear and publish what we find, including when the answer is that a thing isn't worth the money. No sponsors, no affiliate links, no products sent to us in exchange for coverage.
